   Actually, it works in WP 2.7. You have to click in the tags input field for the field inserts. It will be made better 'soon'.

   Thanks I eventually figured it out. I tried to get the plugin to first check if there is content in the custom field to prevent multiple fileds being created evertime you click in the tag field. I couldn't get it to work though, don't know java at all. Thanks for the great plugin.

   I uploaded the file to /wp-content/plugins.
   I activated the plugin.
   Now what do I do?

   Enter your content as you always do - when you are done, click on the tags input field. If all went well, the excerpt field will be auto-filled now.
