Hope that's clear enough.Posted 3 years ago # -
First, thanks for your efforts. I have loaded pollin plugin, created my first poll, then I went to a new post and pasted <!– POLLIN 1 –> where 1 is the number of my first post, I saved the post and clicked on view post, and nothing comes up... I cannot get it to work, seems so simple I must be doing something wrong.Posted 3 years ago #

OK, followup from last post... I pasted it into the "visual" instead of HTML and now it works. However, I now have <!– POLLIN 1 –> at the top of my poll.... Thoughts and Ideas? I'll keep experimenting and share my findings here.
Thanks.Posted 3 years ago # -
OK, so your most succint advice is probably the most valuable.. "Try it, see for yourself" I have resolved my issues with both Pollin and Surveys.... I had a syntax problem that was merely how I was entering the tag.
The tag <!--SURVEYS 1--> or <!--POLLIN 1--> needs to be entered into the page or post as a 'visual' and the syntax will correct/validate itself. Also, depending on how you use wordpress, you can put a survey on a static page instead of on a post. Works great both ways.
Thanks.Posted 3 years ago # -
Nice - you solved the problem before I got a chance to respond
