Server Error 500 creating a new quiz

I have WP 2.8.4 installed on W2k8-IIS7 server with PHP/MySQL. I got a Server error 500 installing the plugin (latest version). The databases are created but when I try to add a new quiz, the plugin bombs with 500 again. The db tables are empty. Any thoughts?

I haven't had the chance to test it on IIS. I'm on linux. I'll see if I can do anything about it.
