Eventr WordPress Plugin for Event Registrations

19 January 2009

Eventr WordPress Plugin lets you use your blog as an event management tool. The admin can create an event – and the plugin will let people register for that event. Eventr can also show a list of all the attendees. Once the event is done, you can deactivate the event and no more sign ups will be allowed.

Features

  • Create multiple events from the Admin side
  • Show a registration form for the event at the client side
  • Show an attendee list for each event in client side
  • See a list of all attendees for each event in the admin side – you can manage this list
  • Set an event date – registration will stop after that date.
  • Set maximum attendee limit for event. Registration will stop after that limit is reached.
  • Registration Fields – Name, Bio, URL, Email, Phone, Image Upload fields
  • All fields except the name can be turned off from the admin side
  • Ability to export data in CSV format
  • Optional Captcha protection for spam prevention
  • And More…

I created a wordpress plugin (http://shoultes.net/wordpress-events-registration-with-paypal-ipn/) for managing event registrations and payments form within the WordPress administration. The plugin uses the PayPal IPN (Autorize.net is also available) to record payments to the built in WordPress database.

Addons are now available for the pro version (http://shoultes.net/upgrade-to-pro-version/). Addons allow you to extend the plugin in many ways. For example: Want to hold member only events or offer discounts to members of your blog? There’s an addon for that. Want to add your own templates, shortcodes, and functions? Well, there’s an addon for that as well.
