New Quizzin Release: 1.01.0
30 January 2009

A new version of Quizzin WordPress Plugin has been released today. The new version will have the following new features…
- Quizzin will show the correct answers at end.
- The users answers, right and wrong, will be marked. This feature can be turned of at the admin side – Settings > Quizzin
- Insert code changed to [QUIZZIN 1]
- The code to insert is changed to [QUIZZIN 1] from <!– QUIZZIN 1 –>. This will make it more easy to use to the HTML-illiterate masses. The old code is still supported for the sake of backward compatibility.
- Uses wpframe
- wpframe is a small framework to make WP plugin creation a bit more easy. Quizzin is the second plugin to use it – the first being Eventr – the event registration wordpress plugin.
- Added the explanation field for each question
- For those who want to use Quizzin as a teaching tool rather than a competition, there is an extra ‘Explanation’ field in the question adding page. You can add the explanation to the question and the reason why the correct answers is, well, correct in this area. This will be shown only at the end of the quiz – and if you have turned on the Show Correct Answers in the settings panel.
- Single Page Quiz
- You can set the quiz to show up in a single page instead of it being spread over many pages.
- WordPress 2.7 Compatibility
- Works better with 2.7. The Quiz management part is moved to Tools > Manage Quiz in the admin panel.
- Bugfixes
- Lots of bugfixes. If you find anymore, report it in the Quizzin forum.

The latest version is available at the WordPress Quizzin Plugin page.
Thanks for all the guys who reported the bugs and beta tested the plugin. Hope you enjoy this release.

Hi
Thanks for this plugin, but there is a problem with the style.css because the button for wrong&correct answers won’t show up?
Hmm – can you give me the URL of the Quiz page? I’ll check it out.
Hi I have ask this question else where but just in case is there any way for the admin to get the scores after the subscriber finished the quiz?
Excellent Plugin by the way!
The current version of he plugin don’t have that feature – I’m thinking of adding it in the future.
The plugin broke, I think after the 2.8 update of wordpress this causes a 404 error.
<form name=”post” action=”/quiz_action.php” method=”post” id=”post”>
So when editing or adding a new Quiz when U hit SAVE ip takes you to a big 404.
Sort of made my way through it by login to my phpMyAdmin and duplicationg the first quiz, and just changing the fields I guess is just a small thing to fix under quiz_action.php even thought I could do it.
I couldn’t I meant..
Some way to restrict users offer feedback and only show wrong answers would be nice
I started a ‘Friday quiz’ a few weeks ago for our company and it has become fairly popular. So instead of writing the questions in a post I stumbled across this awesome plugin. It’s great and this week was our first use of it.
Unfortunately there is one little flaw.. .. Getting the results. We would love to receive the results via email.
In one discussion on the quizzin forum it was mentioned that the ‘survey’ plugin does email the results, however I am totally not good enough to incorporate the code from that into Quizzin. Would be great if somebody/anybody knew how to do this!
Thanks again for a great plugin.
